Vintage items always a good find!

So yesterday I decided to take a look at my local Goodwill store. Any second hand stores are always a great place to find affordable pieces that are in style. I love going stopping by Goodwill at least once a week just to see what I can find, because honestly you never know! I have been looking for some vintage style frames and unique items to decorate my room with. I was searching on eBay but the price of shipping was more than some of the items, just wasn't was I was looking to spend. I stopped by Goodwill and to my surprise I found several great gems. There is another mantel piece I had found that I am going to create into a necklace hanger, keep a secret until completed! Well enjoy!

Happiest Place On Earth

My season pass of Disneyland is now expired. What a wonderful way to end the year. I loved all the wonderful white lights and holiday decorations. I turned to my mom and told her that was what my house would look like year round. My brother laughed and said, well that's some electricity bill each month. Disneyland + holidays, always brings out the best in people.

Time to shake.

Well my decorations are up! I think that is what I love most about the holidays. The joy of the decorations and the fire place running almost all day. Who needs a boy to cuddle with when you have two adorable dogs and a fire place. Stay bundled up everyone. I am becoming obsessed with knit wear, let's see what goodies I will find tomorrow when I go shopping.

Last minute thought* Try going through your clothes that you haven't worn in a while. I would say 9 times out of 10 that you will find a new way to wear that item. For example, I took a old summer dress and added a shirt on top. Layering is always the best way to go to pull off a great outfit. Layering in the winter helps you stay warm totally stylish. On top of layering your clothes, layer your accessories. One necklace on top of another, or a first full of rings. You can never wear enough.
